Memorable Trip !!!

Few things in life will be etched in our memory forever.
My weekend trip to "Nagarhole" two weeks back happened to be so.

Till last moment i was tentative about joining this trip as i was not keeping well for the past two weeks or so prior to this trip.

But it being a team outing i thought better i join them.
As if by magic i was feeling better and better as the trip progressed.

This place is close to Mysore and some 5-6 hrs journey from Bangalore.

We started on Friday night around 11:30 in the night and along with started the fun.
After some good jokes, drinks, shouts within bus we managed to go to sleep well past midnight.

Somebody was there always to check sleeping people if they are actually sleeping by yelling their name out.

We got down at the "JUNGLE INN" resort next day morning around 6 am.
Man, this resort is right beside the mainroad and the moment i got down i was sure that am here for a treat with nature's beauties.

I still remember the smell and chill of the cool breeze that swept across my face.
What a morning start it was for a brighter day ahead, i did not know that time.

After some rest and break and breakfast we all started to nearby water falls !
Who said that waterfalls is nearby i do not know. But it took hell a lot of time to reach there.
Atleast it seemed so to others. But i was wondering if the sight seeing am enjoying from within bus by looking outside and the passing clouds and green stretch mountains will come to an end soon if the bus stops. Fortunately it did not.

After some 3 hrs of journey we got down at the foot steps of another mound with full greeneries around us and started moving ahead for the water falls.

Through out the air was mixed with some good natural pollution-free oxygen with a very good aroma that we get to smell only in forest and hilly regions.

On the way we stopped at flowing waters and took enough snaps by standing amidst those fast water currents. It was so chill. Then we moved ahead and ahead for some more minutes and suddenly we saw the huge cry of water falling from top with the huge force.

Wow ! its a good scene always to see waterfalls especially if they are bit interior in the forest or hilly regions.Had good time there and it started raining too all of a sudden and my joy had no bounds.
I just love rains as i love ice-creams. In fact i was looking around for a quick bite of cone-icecreams.

Then we came back and had lunch and started immediately for "Safari Trip" , a trip in jeep which takes us into deep forest so that we could see some wild animals.

We actually went into the deep forest as much as possible and the guide who came with us gave us lots of pep-talks like how they count the tigers in a forest, when and where an animal could be found in a forest, etc. Suddenly i saw around and i could see only trees and trees high above trying to hand-shake with skies. It was full green around us with that rythmic humm of bees and bugs continously heard thru the air.
GREEN GREEN GREEN. GREEN everywhere around us. "PASUMAI" is the (tamil) word i got into my mind on seeing these everlasting , neverfading stretches of greenaries.A single word that conveys so much of meaning about nature and helps us to envision poetic natural scenes like this.
We saw enough no. of deers and on the way back saw some real big and huge wild elephants and a bear. This guy was actually standing in the middle of the road and he was in deep thought. Suddenly he saw our jeep which was just coming out of a turning.
I WAS SCARED.But driver told that he will go away quitely and so he did giving a strange look to us.
Probably he would have wondered what these creatures coming in jeep and doing here at my place.

In the evening we had a chance to see "Tribal Dance" by a local tribal group. Not a single word we could make out of what they spoke. But we enjoyed their dance.

Next day we went for mountain climbing.Rather it was climbing down from a steep stretch of moutain. To my surprise i was in the first group who climbed through an easy way to the place from where we are supposed to climb down. The instructors were very friendly and the instructions were very clear on how to go down by holding on to the ropes. I came down with less of worries or fears of height. Thats the best part for me personally on the trip second to the scenic beauties of mother nature all along the way for the past two days. We started back on Sunday noon and reached bangalore on sunday night.

It was a strenous trip but i could not resist the thought of staying there for couple of more days and enjoy the peace that is there for anybody to take.

Its a memorable trip worth remembering whenever mental-tiredness comes to me.

Vvvvvvsssssshhhhhhkkkkkkk.

Deception Point - 6/10

I would rate this novel from Dan Brown in the end of the list of all his novels.
Having set his standards with Da Vinci Code, this is truly not upto that point.

Frankly i really pushed myself to get thru few pages.
He went into more explanations of facts in many ocassions which was not so interesting too.
This was not the case in his other novels.

Also i could figure out in advance two major turning points of the novel in advance.
May be i got used to his writing style or was it a blind guess, i dono.

70% of the novel is really good. especially the last 150-170 pages.
But the efforts he had put in collecting in some amazing facts about space science, marine science etc were fantastic.

Probably he could have given those in a better mix of story and facts.

If anybody wanted to read Dan Brown novels , here is the order i would suggest.

-- Da Vinci Code
-- Angels and Demons
-- Digitial Fortress
-- Deception Point

Am eagerly waiting for his next novel to be released.

FEDERER & TENNIS !!! CHAMP HAS ARRIVED.

THE CHAMP HAS ARRIVED !!!
In fact i sensed this, seeing wimbledon final 2004. (a year ago).

He had come a long way after that with just adding trophies too his shelf.
Yes he is ROGER FEDEROR. He is too good a player,

U never feel like changing the channels if he is playing.

He has the class of Sampras + that extra bit of aggression which many felt Sampras missed, which is much debatable if you had watched Sampras over the years.

The best part about Federer fondly refered by Vijay Amritraj and Alan Wilkins as THE CHAMPION , is he never sees the spot or the ball when is returning it.

He is a class act with TENNIS SKILLS in each and every cells of his body.

I still remember what Roddick had to say after losing to THE CHAMP in wimbledon in 2004.

"If i throw wash basin at Feddie (Federer) he is coming up with a bath tub.
If thats the case i could not do much."

Its only matter of time for Federer to win a French Open and complete the GRAND-4 sweep which eluded Pete Sampras.

Surely there is much records that will be broken by this young talent from Swiss.

He is very strong in rallies, baselines, plays at nets with better control and above has that scud like aces when needed.

More importantly he keeps his cool and never you could see him extra reacting or for that matter fist punching on the court.

I only look forward for the records that are waiting on his way to be grabbed by this young fellow.
